The third season of "X Factor" has an official premiere date. Fox has announced that the reality singing competition will be returning to the network this fall with a special two-night premiere starting Wednesday, September 11th.
For season three, former judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid have been replaced with Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio. Kelly and Paulina are joining returning judges Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato, and are currently taping auditions across the U.S. Lovato, however, will be taking a break from her "X Factor" duties this Friday to perform on "Good Morning America's" summer concert series - an appearance that will come just a week after the death of her father.
The 20-year-old had reportedly not been in contact with her father for years. On Wednesday, Demi tweeted that she was feeling "stronger" and thanked fans for their support.
