Richard's Run

Richard's Run

A lighthearted day with a serious purpose: The first annual Richard’s Run.

Join the race to beat brain cancer. August 16, 2014 at Cataloochee Ranch.

Richard’s Run is named in memory of Richard Coker, a beloved member of the Cataloochee Ranch family, who lost his battle with brain cancer in December 2013 at the age of 55. The 5K run will begin at 10 am and will cross Ranch grounds on gravel roads, at a glorious mile-high altitude with Hemphill Bald, one of Richard’s favorite places, as a dramatic backdrop.

There will be awards for the winners, needless to say. But brain cancer will be the only real loser.

Please be there. Even if you aren’t a runner. Corporate sponsors, fund-raising teams, donations, volunteers, and runners in all age groups will be welcome. In fact, we can’t do this without you. So please join us, and help us make this first annual run really count. For the thousands of families affected by brain cancer. And for Richard.
