It sounds like a crazy idea at first.

But think about it. 

If all our roads were made of solar panels, they'd generate power while allowing for greater traffic mitigation flexibility.

I've been aware of this concept for a couple years, but there were a lot of questions about how well it could work. My biggest concern was whether tires would slip on the surface when it rains. 

It looks like a lot of those issues have been resolved.

If the cost of this technology is competitive with your driveway, would you put one of these systems in at your house?

Should governments start looking into using these systems, too?
