Groundhogs At Odds On Winter's End

One of the nation's most accurate groundhog weather predictors offers gives us a varied forecast for the end of winter. Raleigh's Sir Walter Wally did not see his shadow Thursday, predicting winter will end in two weeks. The nation's most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, did see his shadow - meaning six more weeks of winter. When it comes to accuracy over the years, Wally beats Phil 58% to 37%. Chimney Rock's new groundhog Greta did not see her shadow either.
