The North Carolina state legislature apparently has until noon Wednesday to swing a deal on House Bill Two, or the state will miss the boat on hosting NCAA championship events through the spring of 2022. Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance Executive Director Scott Dupree told media outlets Monday, around noon, that the NCAA's deadline is "48 hours from now." If no agreement to change or repeal House Bill Two is reached, the NCAA has said it will ignore all proposals from North Carolina cities.
