An Asheville man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted a trooper.
Andrew Hodges is charged with assaulting a trooper, fleeing arrest, reckless driving and driving while impaired. Hodges is accused of grabbing a trooper and trying to hit him after being caught speeding on Interstate 26.
He's being held in the Buncombe County Detention Center on nine-thousand-dollars bond.
