A Candler man is in trouble for allegedly taking money from people for work he never completed.
Daryl Lee Campbell is in the Buncombe County Detention Facility with bond totaling nearly 125-thousand dollars after his company took money for paving jobs that he allegedly didn't finish. Records show Campbell has a history of using phony names and Carolina Paving Company got an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau of Western North Carolina.
Campbell faces multiple charges of failure to work after being paid, obtaining property under false pretenses and a count of driving with a revoked license following a DWI.
