Heavy rain and high winds are being blamed for pushing a large oak tree onto the A&T office building on Montreat Road in Black Mountain.
The nearly 80-foot-tall tree made a large hole in the roof of the building when it fell before noon yesterday. The tree was eventually removed by a crane.
There were no reports of injuries to anyone inside the building after the tree came crashing down.
