A beloved local, nine-year-old Olivia Landreth, is no longer with us after her heart gave out during a visit to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Olivia was going to the hospital for a routine visit. No details have been released on how exactly she died. She became well-known in 2015 after the media got ahold of the story that the chronically ill little girl's biggest wish was to ride the school bus with the healthy children. Her wish did come true and she even got her own school bus.
Her funeral is planned for Wednesday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville.
