Parks And Rec Department Launches Movies In The Park

"Back to the Future" will be playing on the big screen in Pack Square Park in Asheville this Friday and you can go watch it for free.

The Parks and Recreation Department will screen movies each month until September during this year's season of Movies in the Park.  Residents are encouraged to bring a chair or a blanket and meet in the park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday for children's craft activities.  The classic Michael J. Fox movie will start at dusk.

All of the movies played at the park will be rated G or PG.  The movies "Sing," "Up," "Moana" and "Star Wars: Rogue One" are on the schedule for the rest of the season.
