Folks heading to the North Carolina State Fair this weekend can expect tighter security measures due to the mass shooting in Las Vegas.
Organizers say their plans include metal detectors, bag checks at every entrance, surveillance cameras and several hundred officers on patrol.
More than one-million people attended the state fair last year, and organizers are expecting to exceed that this time around.
The fair runs from October 12th through the 22nd at the fairgrounds in Raleigh.
