Asheville Police say a kidnapping suspect bit one officer during a fight in his arrest.
Devon Monterio King allegedly barricaded himself in a Pisgah View Apartments bedroom with the victim this week.
Officers arrived at the scene and attempted to subdue King.
The arrest warrant revealed King fought and swung a baton at officers, in addition to the biting.
He now faces felony kidnapping and assault charges.
