A lump of money from President Trump's budget plan could be coming to Swain County.
A reported 20-million-dollars has been earmarked as payback for an unfinished road project from 75 years ago.
The Department of the Interior once agreed to reconstruct a flooded road near Bryson City, but the project was halted over environmental concerns.
The settlement is reportedly the first priority in the National Park Service's construction fund.
