Videos recorded by American Airlines passengers this week show a man appearing to attack employees on the tarmac at Charlotte Douglas.
The airline says the man was disoriented and disruptive before being threatened to be removed from the plane.
Passengers next witnessed the man outside the plane take his shirt off and start lunging at workers.
The CMPD says the man was taken to a hospital and has not yet been charged.
