Authorities are on the lookout for a bank robber. The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office says the PNC Bank branch at 1007 Smokey Park Highway was held up Wednesday morning, just before 11 am. Surveillance footage of the suspect shows police are looking for a black male, who was wearing a yellow shirt, yellow ball cap, and sunglasses, at the time. There is no word on whether a weapon was brandished in the robbery. No injuries were reported. Anyone with tips should call Crmie Stoppers at 255-5050.
