Mass Shooting Reported In Downtown Jacksonville

Police said that a lone white male opened fire at a video game tournament at a bar in Jacksonville Landing, a popular downtown area in Jacksonville, Florida. Officials said they are still trying to determine the identity of the shooter.

The sheriff's office confirmed there were "multiple fatalities" but would not release the number of people killed or wounded. News4Jax reports that four people were killed and nine other people were injured.

The shooting happened during a Madden 19 tournament being held at GLHF Game Bar. A video was uploaded to YouTube that captured the moment that the shots broke out. Seconds before gunshots are heard, a red laser pointer can be seen on the chest of one of the men playing. Over one dozen shots can be heard, along with people screaming in the background.

Police said that the suspect was killed at the scene, and there are reports that the gunman killed himself.

The shooting occurred just two days after a gunfire broke out during a nearby high school football game that left one person dead and two others wounded.
