FURTHER SHOWING THE LAZINESS OF HUMANS, ENTER HUMAN UBER

Japanese researcher Jun Rekimoto presented his new tech, called ChameleonMask, at MIT Tech Review's EmTech this week, Select All reports. ChameleonMask has apparently been described as a "Human Uber," but it's really closer to a mobile FaceTime.  The technology uses a real human surrogate who walks around in the world with an iPad strapped to their face and googles that allow them to see.  You can stay at home in the comfort of your own home, while your face is projects on the iPad screen.  You can take your human Uber to pick up items, make deliveries,  or go to work as you with your face.

IN LATEST TEST OF DIGITAL FORENSICS ALEXA MAY HAVE WITNESSED DOUBLE MURDER

Farmington, NH police are asking Amazon to turn over any digital data that may have been collected when an Amazon Echo device could have been listening when Timothy Verrill stabbed Christine Sullivan and her friend, Jenna Pellegrini on January 27, 2017.  Earlier this year, we reported on another case in Arkansas in which an Echo could have been listening during a murder. Again, Amazon isn’t immediately turning over the data citing customer privacy and will only turn over the data with a strict legal request. A New Hampshire judge has stated that the state suspects that Alexa may have been listening at the time of the murders.
