  • John Solomon at The Hill reports on "growing evidence" that Ukraine was asked to help elect Hillary Clinton: "In its most detailed account yet, the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington says a Democratic National Committee (DNC) insider during the 2016 election solicited dirt on Donald Trump’s campaign chairman and even tried to enlist the country's president to help."
  • The Wall Street Journal reports: "The whistleblower at the center of the impeachment investigation of President Trump will testify in the House “very soon,” though in a way that will protect his identity, the Democrat leading the probe said Sunday."
  • Sean Davis at The Federalist writes about the policy change that loosened the rules on whistleblowing: "Between May 2018 and August 2019, the intelligence community secretly eliminated a requirement that whistleblowers provide direct, first-hand knowledge of alleged wrongdoings." Kevin Poulsen at the Daily Beast says Davis is wrong.
  • From POLITICO: "Joe Biden’s presidential campaign demanded on Sunday that major TV networks stop booking Rudy Giuliani, accusing President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer of spreading “false, debunked conspiracy theories” on behalf of his client."
  • WRAL has the latest story of an unauthorized immigrant who was released from the Wake County jail: "Federal immigration authorities on Friday criticized the Wake County Sheriff's Office over the release from the county jail of a registered sex offender who is in the U.S. illegally."
  • Kathi Petersen with an op-ed in the Asheville Citizen-Times: "All of those who complain about what Asheville has become can’t even imagine how completely boring, scary, lifeless, hopeless that it felt back then. No good places to eat. No breweries or bars. No funky little shops. No museums. No murals. No events downtown every single week. Certainly no young people! The list goes on. And on."
