North Carolina voters could decide this fall whether to legalize medical marijuana.
However, before a measure makes it to the ballot in November, state lawmakers must first pass the Medical Cannabis Act. They're actually deciding if voters can decide on the bill.
If the medical pot measure does make it to voters, it could be legal as soon as December 2018.
