A bipartisan bill introduced in the state Senate would lift one of the state's blue laws, or at least give municipal governments the opportunity to do so. The bill would allow alcohol sales in the state before noon on Sundays. The state's Restaurant and Lodging Association is backing the bill. Under the bill, alcohol sales could begin at 10 on Sunday mornings, if local government approves it.
