A suspect involved in an assault and kidnapping caught on surveillance video in Transylvania County has a criminal record.
According to state records, Marquis Logan was sentenced in September 2015 for assaulting a woman and had several protective orders against him. Surveillance video taken along Henderson Highway on Monday shows a pregnant woman jumping out of a car, and then getting attacked and forced back into the vehicle by a man, believed to be Logan.
A second man, Tyrean Massagee, was also arrested on kidnapping charges
