In an effort to prevent an outbreak of the dog flu, some mountain veterinarians are offering discounted vaccinations today.
Vets around western North Carolina are bringing the price down from around 80-dollars to just 15.
The dog flu has spread in other areas around the southeast and has been known to kill pets.
Vets in Waynesville and other members of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association will be participating in the clinic.
