The WNC Farmers Market, along with the NC Watermelon Association, will be hosting "Watermelon Day" at the market on Friday, July 28th from 11am-1pm between the Market Shoppes.
There will be free watermelon slices for everyone and drawings for free watermelon. There will be watermelon eating contest for the kids, with prizes to be given away. The reigning NC Watermelon Queen, Emma Cannon will be at the Market to greet everyone! Come and enjoy some family fun and you just might be one of the lucky winners.
