Three people arrested in Tennessee are now facing murder charges in the case of a missing Burke County man.
The Valdese Police Department says the family of 30-year-old Carlton Lamaar Edmonson received an anonymous phone call last month that he had been kidnapped.
The caller reportedly demanded a ransom.
The multi-county investigation landed six people in jail. Three of those suspects face kidnapping charges that were upgraded to murder.
