Governor Cooper Closes All State Schools K-12 Amid Corona Virus

North Carolina Schools are closed!

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper announcing shortly before 5pm on Saturday that all state schools grades K-12 will be closed starting Monday, March 16th, 2020 for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Additionally the Governor that all gatherings of 100 or more be canceled.

There are currently 23 cases of the Covid-19 Corona virus in North Carolina. None of those cases are located in the Western portion of the state but those numbers are subject to change.
