President Trump Spends Time in Western North Carolina Ahead of RNC

As the Republican National Convention gets underway in Charlotte, President Trump is spending some time in Western North Carolina. Specifically at Flavor First Growers and Packers.

The organization played a major roll in providing food boxes to families across the country during the beginning months of the Coronavirus pandemic as part of the Farmers to Families program.

Also traveling with the president on Monday was daughter Ivanka, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue.

The president will tour the Mills River facility before heading to his next stop in Greenville, South Carolina and then eventually back to Charlotte where he is expected to speak Monday evening during the opening night of the 2020 RNC.
