Believe it or not, Valentine’s Day is less than a month away, and while you may already be worrying about what to get your significant other, it seems you may be worrying for nothing. Believe it or not, a new survey finds that a lot of women aren’t really that crazy about the holiday.

The new poll, conducted by intamacy product makers epi24, finds that 44% of women don’t expect to receive any gifts or be taken out on a special dinner for Valentine’s. What’s more, 41% of women who are in a relationship actually dread Valentine’s more than other holidays.

Of course regardless of what the survey says, if they are smart, most men will likely do something for their gal, and if you’re relationship is still new don’t think that means you’re off the hook. In fact, 61% of women say the length of the relationship doesn’t come into play when it comes to celebrating the day.

And when it comes to what you do for them on Valentine’s Day, there are definitely some things fellas may want to avoid. While you may think it’s romantic to serenade your love, 40% of women consider it the corniest Valentine’s Day gesture, with rose petals on the bed coming in second with 21%.

  • Finally, if you think a V-Day gift is going to guarantee you some action in the bedroom you may want to think again. Shockingly, 34% of women would rather watch TV than have sex, with 35% of women saying they most look forward to cuddling in the bedroom.
