Happy Monday!

As I sat at my desk doing show prep and eating some vanilla pudding, I thought, "You know, Pete, it's about time I posted a picture of my weight loss progress."

I then said, "That's a great idea, Pete!"

"I thought so, too, Pete," I replied.  It was this point that I considered not carrying on conversations out loud with myself.

First, here is the pudding I was eating when I had my revelation:

This is the first time I wore this shirt in about 8 years.  I am so glad I kept half a closet of "thin clothes."  (I'm not really sure what's happening with the hair, though.)

So far, I've lost 30 pounds on Medifast - going from 225 to 195.  My goal is 180, so I'm more than halfway there. Look at my mug shot over there on the left side of the page for comparison.  (Which reminds me - I need to get a new mug shot for the website!)

My dad is now doing Medifast (he loves the shakes and chocolate meal bars), and we have a bet on who can lose 15 pounds first.

Also, a friend saw me at a wedding for the first time in months and asked me how I'd lost the weight.  I told her about Medifast and she signed up. 

The other day she sent me a text message after weighing in, and she lost 6 pounds!  She's excited because it's such an easy program with proven results.
