Asheville Police look into a murder at Deaverview apartments Monday night. The victim has been identified as 53 year-old Johnnie Randell Griggs. Authorities say Griggs' body was found in his van, near building #8. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots around 8:40 pm. Anyone with information on the shooting, is asked to call Crimestoppers at 255-5050.
