Democrats in the North Carolina Senate are giving lawmakers another chance to repeal House Bill Two. The bill, however, does not have much of a future. Senate Bill 25 is a full repeal, without any strings attached. If passed it would allow cities across North Carolina to pass nondiscrimination ordinances just like the one that inspired House Bill Two to begin with. Republicans offered a repeal late last year, but it was blocked by Democrats who refused to accept a moratorium on nondiscrimination ordinances.
