Buncombe County officials are signing off on a controversial vacation rental project in Asheville.
The Board of Adjustment yesterday voted in favor of the project on Merrills Cove Road.
It will feature ten luxury cabins, but locals have raised concerns about traffic and loud parties.
The ground-breaking is planned in a few weeks with the first few cabins expected to open in the fall.
