The 19-year-old man accused of attacking a lady with a hammer is due in court today.
Police say John Ferry bludgeoned the 55-year-old woman at a home in Flat Rock over the weekend. The 911 caller said the suspect was on a religious tirade and may have been suffering from mental health issues.
The victim's family says she suffered a fractured skull and has been placed in a medically-induced coma.
