A man is facing several charges after a high-speed chase in Haywood County.
It happened Monday after reports of a man breaking into his ex-wife's home in Waynesville. Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene and tried to arrest 67-year-old Lawrence Hall, but he allegedly took off and tried to run over one of the officers.
Stop sticks were used to halt the man's car, and he was taken into custody.
