Investigators are questioning a man in connection with an assault and kidnapping case in Transylvania County.
Sheriff's officials say a call came in Monday night about a possible kidnapping along Hendersonville Highway and King Road. They looked at surveillance footage in the area and saw a woman jump out of a car, and then a man chasing after her. The guy is seen beating the woman before forcing her back into the vehicle.
Investigators have not identified the suspect, but they say charges are pending.
