Fire crews are breathing a sigh of relief after knocking down a house fire in Swannanoa that was growing out of control.
The blaze broke out on Old Fellowship road yesterday afternoon and quickly consumed five acres. Although it threatened neighboring homes, crews were able to knock down the flames and stop them from causing any further damage.
No one was hurt, and the cause is under investigation.
