Damaging winds, hail and possibly even tornadoes are in the forecast for Western North Carolina.
The first storm is expected to move into the Upstate and Western mountains by midday today. Forecasters say a powerful cold front will follow, bringing windy, cold and wet conditions by tomorrow. Areas above 35-hundred feet could see snow by Friday morning.
Sunshine is back in store for the weekend.
