Hendersonville Planning Board Votes Against Rezoning High School

Plans to build a new Hendersonville High School are on hold.

The city's Planning Board yesterday voted against rezoning the property that the building is supposed to sit on.  County commissioners and the Board of Education have already agreed to build the 53-million-dollar school on the former Boyd dealership property.

Close to 500-thousand dollars has been spent so far on architects and planning.
