A student from Forest Hills High School is getting help after a tip from a Canadian law enforcement agency allowed deputies to get to the school before he tried to attack other students.
Canadian authorities were made aware after the student allegedly made the threats in a chat room discussion. On Tuesday, Union County deputies confiscated several knives, fireworks, dismantled shotgun shells, a bottle of flammable liquid and a "hit list" of twelve names before the attack was planned to happen.
They don't know yet what the charges will be against the student. He is currently not in law enforcement custody.
