Some residents in south Asheville are fighting a development proposal on Overlook Road.
A Greensboro company wants to build a housing complex with over 200 units and 30 townhomes on the road.
A petition is circulating to stop the project and many neighbors are planning to bus to the July proposal hearing.
They have concerns about the traffic and emergency responders, as well as the damage it poses on the environment.
