A trial date is set for Phillip Stroupe the Second in the summertime death of a Henderson County man.
A McDowell County judge announced yesterday that Stroupe will stand trial in Marion for murder starting December 4th.
He's accused of killing 68-year-old Tommy Bryson in July while he on the run from cops following an alleged theft.
He also faces a concurrent murder charge in Henderson County for Bryson's death.
