Sheriff's Office Takes Dogs From Couple For Third Time

Some dogs are in the care of the Buncombe County Animal Shelter after being seized by the sheriff's office.

The dogs were seized last week with warrants indicating their owners didn't give them proper shelter or food.

One of the dogs seized was said to be emaciated and appeared to have been branded.

It's the third time in three months the sheriff's office has taken dogs from the couple's home on Tipton Hill Road in Leicester.
