Representative Discusses School Safety In Hendersonville

U.S. Representative Mark Meadows answered questions about school safety and gun violence at Hendersonville Middle School yesterday.

He told students he is in favor of spending money to increase security at schools with more resource officers and doors with self-closing locks.

His appearance was a scheduled visit after he received a request from a student a few weeks ago.

Meadows represents District 11, which covers most of Western North Carolina.
