GE Aviation is adding close to 150 jobs in two North Carolina counties as part of a technology and machinery expansion.
Governor Roy Cooper announced the 105-million-dollar investment by the aviation company at yesterday's Asheville Chamber of Commerce meeting.
Most of the added positions are expected in Buncombe County.
The rest will be in Ashe County.
Cooper says the company has been a great corporate partnership for the western part of the state.
