WLOS-TV says the department is working with Asheville investigators to see if the suspects may be connected to an armed robbery in the Oakley neighborhood almost a week ago.

A small earthquake is being reported in the North Carolina Mountains. The U.S. Geological Survey says it hit shortly before six Sunday morning around ten miles north of Lenoir. There was no damage from the quake, but some people said they felt it. It registered a two-point-four magnitude.
