2018 ELECTION CENTRAL

Will the Republicans lose control of Congress? Can Democrats take down the GOP's veto-proof majorities in Raleigh? Will the "Nix All Six" campaign prevail, or will the NC Constitution be amended? All of these questions will be answered tonight.

The polls close in North Carolina at 7:30pm. Around 78,000 people already cast a ballot in early voting in Buncombe County, which ended Saturday. 2.1 million voters went to the polls early in the Tar Heel State. That's nearly as many people who voted in the 2014 midterm (2.8 million).

Tune to 570 WWNC, for complete coverage of the results. The analysis kicks off at 6p, with the 570 News Team, Pete Kaliner, and WCU Political Science and Public Affairs Dept. Head, Dr. Chris Cooper.
