Flooding and Downed Trees Delay School for some Students

The weekend's winds and rain are causing delays for at least one mountain school district.

Jackson County Schools will run on a delay for Monday morning because of flooding and damage from high winds.

The Smoky Mountain District is on a 2-hour delay while the Blue Ridge District is on a 2.5-hour delay (B-Schedule).
